Lyra musicians present works for respective solo instruments. This genre holds a special place in the baroque repertoire, representing the entire stylistic vocabulary, virtuosity, and grand scale of the era. But being presented in miniature packaging they are also uniquely and pristinely intimate. For musicians these solos can be almost mediations, returned to over and again. And listening you’ll hear the conversation between dear friends: a performer and their instrument.
